The Stone age comes alive…
We will be visited by people who have a lot of experience with the stone age way of making and using tools.The Stone Age people have previously participated in the revival at Hjerl Hede’s Stone Age settlement and are simply passionate “Stone Age people” – for example, their costumes are reconstructions of clothing from Stone age.
They all want to share their experiences and knowledge with us.
Who: All ages – there will be activities for children
Admission: Adults 35 kr, children under 15 free
We will sell coffee, tea, juice, and cake. You can also buy postcards with Stone Age motifs.

Using natural resources in the Stone Age
Lecture at Jørgen Rieck’s Archaeological Collection, Egebjergvej 4, Svenstrup, 6430 Nordborg
Sunday, September 29 at 2 p.m.
Entrance: DKK 40,-. Children for free.
In a richly illustrated lecture, Sabine Karg (archaeologist and botanist) will convey the extensive knowledge of the utilization of plants in the Stone Age.
Plants were already used for cooking, as a medicine, to make clothes, fishing nets and containers and more.
After the lecture, the audience can even touch and smell for materials used at that time 6.000 years ago.
